Digital loyalty cards for UK cafés and delis

Why cafés are moving off paper

Most independent cafés still run the same paper loyalty system they have used for twenty years. It works, until it does not. The card gets left at home, or lost on the bus, or washed in a jeans pocket. The customer comes in eight times and forgets about the ninth because the only record is a piece of cardboard.

A digital loyalty card removes almost all of that friction. There is no card to lose. The customer scans your QR code with their phone, opens their card and asks for a stamp, and your staff approve it. Next visit, the card is still there on their phone, and your staff can see how many visits they have. Customers without a smartphone can give their name at the till and staff add the stamp for them.

What a digital loyalty card looks like in your café

You pick the visit threshold (eight coffees for a free one, ten sandwiches for a free slice, whatever fits). You pick the reward. You pick your café colours and your logo. The customer-facing card updates in real time across visits and rewards.

There is no app to download and no account to create with a password. Customers scan the QR code on your counter, enter their name once and ask for a stamp from their phone. Staff review the request and approve it.

What you need to set it up

A phone, tablet or computer with a browser for your staff. A wifi connection. A QR code sign for the counter, which you print from your settings. About ten minutes to give us your café name, your colours, and your reward. That is the whole list.

You do not need to integrate with your till. Show staff how to review check-ins, approve eligible stamps and handle rewards. You do not need a new till roll, a new loyalty card design, or any new contract.

Pricing and questions from café owners

How much does it cost? Staamp is £29/month with no setup fee. Unlimited customers and check-ins are included. Cancel any time.

Will customers need their own smartphone? No. Customers with a phone scan your QR code and keep their card on it. Customers without one give their name at the till and staff add the stamp.

What about customers who do not want to give a name? Staamp uses a name to look up a loyalty record. Explain this before enrolment; customers can choose not to join the digital programme.

Can I see it before committing? Yes, the live demo is open. Type any name, watch the visits climb, claim the reward at the threshold.

Ready to see how it would look in your café? Tell us your café name and we will set it up free, or try the live demo first with no signup.
